Space Attack is a fast-paced, nostalgically styled arcade space shooter. Players act as Earth's last line of defense, piloting an advanced starfighter against swarms of invading alien forces. How to Play
The controls are highly intuitive: simply drag your finger across the screen to move your fighter in any direction while your weapons fire automatically and continuously. Your primary task is to destroy all enemy craft on screen while dodging their lasers, missiles, and asteroids trying to ram you. Destroying specific enemies drops colored energy orbs; picking them up changes your weapon type (e.g., spread shot, homing missiles, high-frequency lasers) or upgrades your firepower tier. A powerful Boss awaits at the end of each level, requiring you to learn its attack patterns and exploit its weaknesses. Resources earned from clearing stages can be used to permanently upgrade your ship's stats.
Beginner Tips
- Keep your finger low on the screen: This prevents your hand from blocking your view, allowing you to clearly see enemies and bullets approaching from above and the sides.
- Coverage over precision: In the early game, try to grab 'Spread' weapon upgrades; a wide attack range helps you clear screens of weak enemies much easier.
- Don't hide in corners: Corners feel safe but make it easy for crossfire to trap you. Roaming the lower-middle part of the screen is the best option.
- Anticipate Boss lasers: Many Bosses have charging animations or trajectory warnings before firing massive beams. Move laterally the moment you see them.
- Shields are lifesavers: Always prioritize grabbing blue shield power-ups; they can absorb one fatal mistake and save your run.
Advanced Strategy
Weapon switching strategy: Advanced players adapt weapons to the situation. Use spread shots for mobs, but actively grab focused lasers or missiles to burst down high-health Bosses.
Grazing technique: If hitboxes allow, intentionally flying very close to bullets (grazing). Some shooters reward this with points or energy. Even if not rewarded, it builds micro-dodging skills.
Spawn controlling: Memorize the enemy waves in a level. Move directly below where tough enemies are about to spawn to kill them the split second they appear.

Blindly grabbing weapon drops: Accidentally picking up a level 1 drop for a different weapon when you already have a fully upgraded, powerful laser, causing your DPS to plummet instantly.
