What is this game?

Meteorite Shooter is a casual puzzle game that combines classic 'Bubble Shooter' mechanics with a sci-fi space meteorite theme. In this game, instead of shooting colored bubbles, you control a space cannon firing meteorites of different elemental attributes to match and shatter the encroaching cluster of meteorites above. It's designed for players who enjoy color matching, physics rebound calculations, and seeking a relaxing, stress-relieving experience. Each level takes only minutes to complete, bringing both visual and psychological satisfaction amidst gorgeous shattering effects.

How to Play

The core gameplay is very familiar and easy to pick up. At the bottom of the screen, you have a cannon loaded with a meteorite of a specific color (or material). Above hangs a large, complex cluster of meteorites. Dragging your finger on the screen reveals a dotted aiming line; release to fire the meteorite. When your meteorite hits two or more of the same color, they trigger a chain explosion and are cleared. If you hit a different color, your projectile sticks to it. Your goal is to clear the entire heavy cluster before it crushes the bottom defense line, or to complete level tasks like 'collect specific ores'. Bouncing shots off the side walls is the game's core technique.

Beginner Tips

  • Billiards-style bouncing: This is the most crucial skill! When a straight shot is blocked, aim the line at the left or right walls. Use the physical refraction angle to accurately send the meteorite into the gaps deep in the back.
  • Cut the root tactic: Don't just target the lowest meteorites. Observe the structure above carefully. If you can shatter the small cluster of same-colored meteorites connected at the very top, the huge bunch hanging below will drop and be destroyed instantly due to loss of support.
  • Swap bullets: Next to your cannon, the color of the next meteorite is usually displayed. If your current meteorite truly has no good targets, tap the cannon to swap the current and next projectile. This can be a lifesaver.
  • Don't block your own path: If you have no matching targets to clear, try to shoot the current meteorite to the absolute edge where it's least obstructive. Never dump it dead center, as it will block the trajectory of your next shot.
  • Use special items wisely: The game occasionally gives you bomb meteorites or piercing lasers. Don't waste them on areas with just two or three scattered rocks; save them for the densest, hardest-to-clear areas with mixed colors.

Advanced Strategy

Threading the needle: In advanced levels, gaps between obstacles can be extremely narrow. Through microscopic angle adjustments, make the meteorite graze the edges of two different colored rocks to directly hit the weak point hidden deepest inside.

Color isolation and extinction: Advanced players consciously prioritize eradicating the rarest color on the board. Once that color is wiped out, your cannon will no longer generate bullets of that color, drastically reducing the chance of bad hands later.

Score via dropping: Don't rush to clear with straight shots. If you can use superb bouncing techniques to cut the root, causing a massive drop, the falling meteorites usually yield extremely high bonus scores or energy rewards.

Common Mistakes

Jittery finger causing mis-sticks: Lining up a perfect gap, but your finger jitters the millisecond you release to fire, causing the meteorite to stick to a different colored rock on the outside, instantly sealing off your carefully planned corridor.

Over-obsessing on direct clears: Thinking only about 'hitting matching colors' while forgetting to analyze the overall structure. Wasting 10 bullets slowly chewing from the bottom up, when just 2 shots at a side connection point could trigger a massive collapse.

Panic firing: When the cluster presses down very low, near the bottom line, your psychological defense collapses. Instead of aiming, you fire randomly, which only piles up meteorites faster, accelerating your demise.

Who is this game for?

This game is a fantastic modern alternative for loyal fans of Bubble Shooter mechanics. It is suitable not only for killing fragmented time while waiting for a bus or on the toilet, but also for players of all ages who enjoy finding order and achievement in physics collisions and color matching.
