What is this game?

Market Sort is a 3D puzzle game that ingeniously combines match-3 mechanics with product sorting and organizing. Playing as a supermarket stocker facing messy shelves of various 3D goods (like sodas, snacks, cans), you must place three identical items on the same shelf to match and pack them away. It tests not only your observation but also your forward-planning in limited space. With highly therapeutic 3D visuals and ASMR-like sorting sound effects, it's the perfect time-killer for perfectionists and players who love slow-paced, stress-free mental gymnastics.

How to Play

The game presents multi-tiered 3D supermarket shelves piled with messy goods. You tap an item to pick it up, then tap another shelf with empty space to place it down. The core rule: you must place three completely identical items side-by-side on the very front of the same shelf. Once three are aligned, they pack up and fly away, freeing precious shelf space. Because the shelves have depth, you can only grab the items sitting on the outermost layer. Thus, like solving a multi-layered puzzle, you must constantly move outer junk items to empty spots to reach the target items buried behind them. If all shelves fill up and no match-3 is possible, the game deadlocks and you fail.

Beginner Tips

  • Find 'exposed' pairs first: At the start, quickly scan the outermost layer of all shelves. If two identical items are already exposed, even on different shelves, prioritize finding the third to match them and quickly free up space.
  • Empty shelves are priceless: Early in the game, keep or create a completely empty shelf if possible. This empty shelf is your ultimate 'transit hub' for moving outer junk to dig for deeper items.
  • Don't stuff things randomly: When moving outer items to get inside, don't just dump them anywhere. Try to group identical items together, or place them in front of shelves that have the same items hidden deep inside.
  • See through the bottom layers: Before moving, look closely at what is buried behind the item you want. If you move it, can the newly exposed item immediately form a match-3 with something else?
  • Don't be afraid to reset: If you feel the shelves are totally chaotic with almost no empty spots left to shuffle things around, don't force it. Restarting the level is often more efficient than wasting ten minutes on a dead end.

Advanced Strategy

The 'Digging' tactic: In advanced levels, items are buried deep. Lock onto a deep target you are sure you can complete. Systematically scatter all items blocking it to other shelves. Sacrifice current tidiness; as long as this match-3 completes, the space will instantly revitalize.

Pre-sorting by color/shape: Even if you can't make three, advanced players consciously group items of the same color or packaging onto one shelf. This not only makes it visually clearer but eliminates cross-shelf transport when the third item appears.

Extreme space utilization (Grid-locking): When only one empty slot remains, the move you make MUST be the final step that directly leads to an elimination. Calculate the logic chain: 'Move A away, exposing B, B perfectly matches three to clear, freeing up new empty slots'.

Common Mistakes

Stuffing the front rows with junk: To get a can of cola in the back, casually placing the blocking chips, apple, and milk onto the absolute front of three different shelves. This blocks the other shelves too, known as 'robbing Peter to pay Paul'.

Feeling safe with just two: Putting two identical items together thinking 'the third will show up eventually', without realizing the third is buried at the very bottom. These two items permanently occupy two precious front-row slots, becoming rigid obstacles.

Forgetting shelf depth: Focusing only on outer-layer matches and ignoring that some long shelves can hold three or four items. Taking an item that could have just been pushed deeper and moving it to another shelf wastes longitudinal space.

Who is this game for?

Market Sort is a paradise for neat freaks, perfectionists, and 3D puzzle lovers. It has no complex combat; it just requires you to calm down and organize your thoughts like cleaning a room. It's extremely suitable for adults to 'detox their brains' before bed or after high-stress work.
