What is this game?

Galaxy Attack is a modern alien swarm shooter that perfectly inherits the spirit of 'Galaga.' It targets sci-fi fans and players who love ship collection and stat-based progression. Each campaign battle lasts 3 to 6 minutes. Players face arrays of alien bio-mechanical bugs that dive-bomb in unpredictable patterns. It offers not only the thrill of bullet dodging but also a deep out-of-match upgrade system, allowing you to experience the ultimate power fantasy of evolving a peashooter into a screen-clearing death ray.

How to Play

Swipe the screen to steer your auto-firing spaceship. Enemies assemble in specific formations at the top, periodically breaking rank to launch suicide dive-bombs or fire bullets. The core rhythm is 'crowd control and scaling.' Early on, you must rapidly break their formations to catch dropping blue crystals or weapon-swap items. Later, the screen fills with elite bugs. Victory relies on wiping the screen before your shields deplete. Crucially, beyond mid-match power-ups, you must spend earned gold off-screen to upgrade your ship's base damage, HP, and wingmen, otherwise late-game enemy health pools will feel impossibly spongy.

Beginner Tips

  • Always prioritize killing enemy ships that break formation to dive-bomb. They will ram you and completely ruin your dodging rhythm.
  • Don't blindly grab every weapon drop. Sometimes your current homing laser is vastly superior to the clunky spread-shot that just dropped.
  • Spend all your gold upgrading base Damage. In the face of overwhelming firepower, defense and health stats are largely meaningless.
  • When fighting spongy Elite bugs, strafe rapidly in small left-right motions directly below them. This guarantees DPS while dodging straight-line bullets.
  • When massive swarms spawn in rows from the screen's edges, immediately retreat to the bottom-center. It is always the safest starting position.

Advanced Strategy

Formation tearing tactics: Facing a dense phalanx, don't spread your fire. Focus all DPS on the far left or right column to punch a vertical hole, collapsing their fire network.

Wingman interception: Many Drones don't just shoot; they block enemy projectiles. Learn to use your wingmen's hitboxes to absorb fatal, stray sniper shots.

Phase-stalling item grabs: If an ultra-rare 'Screen Nuke' drops, don't grab it instantly. Float it until the next brutally hard black-armor swarm spawns for an instant wipe.

Common Mistakes

Camping dead-center at the very bottom, meaning when enemies execute a full-screen dragnet dive, you have zero lateral space to break out.

Forgetting to upgrade your ship off-screen. Taking a level 1 peashooter into Stage 10 means it takes 3 seconds to kill a basic minion, leading to death by attrition.

Following your own bullets with your eyes instead of staring at enemy gun barrels, resulting in zero anticipation of stray enemy fire.

Who is this game for?

Extremely suitable for commuters killing short breaks, stat-progression players addicted to 'grinding gold for bigger guns,' and fans of power-fantasy alien blasters.
